Del Strain was a Finalist in five major Comps in his first two years and since then has progressed to spots at The Comedy Cafe,Jongleurs,The Glee,Banana Cabaret,Kings Head,The Stand, and many more gigs all over the UK bringing his take on Britain 2008 warts and all.As well as writing Sketchs for itv and the BBC 1 Scotland Karen Dunbar Show he has made tv and radio appearences from X-FM and Talksport to Sky Poker and the Itv 1 5:Oclock show doing his Stand Up and will be Playing Poker as a Comedian through 2008 on Sky as well as giging all over the UK and hopefully broadening his profile and getting more work on the circuit and on Tv and Radio.

Del can also act and has done Shakespeare at The Young Vic and also has made a Film and Adverts for the Nissan Navara and also a Braun Shaving advertising Campaign but is concentrating on the Comedy and Writing for the moment.
Del Strain has got to the level of gigs he is doing without representation which is no mean feat for someone on their own and since reaching the Final of The Hackney Empire New Act of the Year on his fifth gig has continued to gig all over the uk and get to new acts comps in his first two years including Hackney again in 2004 as well as 2003-The only Comedian to have ever done it twice and for the last two years has been doing all paid gigs or MC work and has become a solid bankable act that audiences lap up.

Del has had a interesting and some what colourfull life and has built a set on the real world as he sees it in all its honesty and the social comment has become a trademark for his material which is based on life today in the UK circa 2008 with all its warts and all.

As has been said at the moment he has no representation but is open to offers and has also a few proposals for TV shows and a comedy drama written by him that he is trying to get developed and made.
