BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Miles Crawford is noted as one of the most versatile personalities in the country. He has tons of charisma and an upbeat manner, which has also made him a popular television presenter.

For television, Miles presented Nightlife, a late night factual look at life in London (for LWT) and he was the main presenter of Carlton’s hit entertainment showcase for new talent The Warehouse (which he presented for three series). He recently co-presented the award-winning multicultural show Drumbeat, again for Carlton Television, and was a roving reporter on Super Sunday, LWT’s live coverage of the Lord Mayor’s election. Miles has guested on several programmes including Comedy Café and The Look and his singing skills came in very handy on Channel 5’s popular karaoke show Night Fever!

As a live performer, Miles has “warmed-up” studio audiences on programmes including An Audience With Tom Jones, Friends Like These, 45 Minutes, Question of Pop, On Line, A Question of Sport, 1000-1, E-Millionaire, Something For The Weekend to name a few.

More recently, he received critical acclaim when he was invited to perform at the Royal Television Society’s annual Craft & Design Award dinner.

Miles’s use of unusual props makes his live comedy refreshingly different. He is a well respected compere at Comedy venues around the country and he regularly performs his live stand-up cabaret and after dinner speaking within the corporate sector. Let us also not forget that he has entertained the British troops on several tours of the army bases in Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Croatia, Serbia and Bebbecular.
